We are sad to announce that on February 12, 2025, Genell Francis Thacker (Flat Rock, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Thacker; her daughter Susan Kay Miller (Genell); her siblings, Clarence McFarland, Beulah Meyer, Thelma McFarland, Helen McFarland and Wilma Cinnamon; and her parents, Albert McFarland and Lilly Bell McFarland.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Thacker Carlson; her son-in-law Joseph Carlson; and her grandchildren, Eric Miller, Melissa Houck (Cameron) and Peter Carlson. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Park (32163 Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
