She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Leslie Higgins; her children, Susan Higgins of Flat Rock and Scott Higgins (Sandra) of Flat Rock; her grandchildren, Steven, Nicole, Michelle and Ashleigh; her sister Betty Morden; and her parents, Murray Anable and Elsie Anable.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association.
