He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo and Antonietta; and his nephew Michael Cappella. He is survived by: his children, Angelo Cappella (Claudia) and Alexa Rapo (Egli); his grandchildren, Magdalena Cappella and Emilio Rapo; and his siblings, Angelo Cappella, Vincenzo Cappella, Gina DiCarlo (Tony), Lia Dailey (Bill) and Romeo Cappella (Heather). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
