He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Burns; his son Richard Burns; and his brothers, Jim Burns and Robert Burns. He is survived by: his daughter Linda Pantanella (Duane); his grandchildren, Bryan Hopkins (Taiying), Steven Hopkins (Carolyn) and Desiree Hinkelman (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Jonah, Autumn, Alyson, Cooper, Jude, Isaac, Chloe, Rowan and Grace; and his sister Darlene.
