He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Houts and Amelia Houts (Johnson); his brother John; and his forever sweetheart Maxine. He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Laubscher (Ron) and Larry Houts Jr.; his stepchildren, Cathy McDaniels Mello, Scott McDaniels, Chris Vargason, Kim Vargason, Mike Vargason, Greg Vargason, Michele Vargason, Theodore Lindsay, John Lindsay, Mark Lindsay (Tamal) and Peter Lindsay (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Phillip, Leigh, Julia, Brandon, Marissa, Janan, Jack, Janelle, Jacob, Alicia, Lane, Luke, Katie, Abigail and Jeremiah. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
