It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Richard Gilbert of Ferndale, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gilbert and Rosemary Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Christine Gilbert; his stepson David Franklin; his siblings, Maureen Gilbert, Kristen Krzystowczyk (Michael), Mark Gilbert (Barb), Susan Johnson, Bethie Chiak (Brian) and John Gilbert (Andrea); and also Joni Melms. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
