He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Wingate; his grandchildren, Lauren and Steven; and his brothers, Roy Wingate and Charles Wingate.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Wingate, Kathy Adkins (Earl) and Robert Wingate (Tanya); his grandchildren, Carrie, Christopher, Courtney, Caitlyn, Carley, Matthew, Andrew, Summer, Lindsey, Joshua, Molly and Sally; and his brother Lyle Wingate (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Home (500 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
