He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marybelle and Stu. He is survived by: his parents, Barbara and Brian; his wife Amanda; his close friend Scott Cheney; and his pets, Frank, Luther, Iggy and Sprout.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spaulding & Curtin Funeral Home (500 W Nine Mile Rd, Ferndale, MI 48220). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. He leaned further into the quiet, naturalist lifestyle post pandemic with a residence in Hale, just a stroll away from where the pontoon boat was docked at West Londo Lake.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made to AuSable Valley Noreast'r Association of Folk (https://www.noreastrfest.org.), a nonprofit dedicated to the promotion of creative and performance arts in northeast Michigan which puts on a yearly festival that Mark and his friends enjoyed.
