He was predeceased by: his grandmother Bonnie Sullivan; and his uncle Timothy Thomas. He is survived by: his parents, Laureen Gerdes-Lander and Michael P. Thomas; his siblings, Rachel, Owen Thomas (Serena) and Holly Thomas; his stepmother Jennifer Lander; his half-brother Billy Lander III; his grandparents, Christine Cohen, Ray Sullivan, William and Claudia Lander, Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Casey Gerdes, Chris Gerdes, Teresa Moore (John), Joanna Laubisch (Scott), Chuck Lander, Kim Lander and Carrie Riley; and his cousins, Makenna, Reilly, Morgan, Ryan, Kya of Ava, C. J., Kayla, Austin, Tony, Robert Thomas, III (Beth), Michael, Hayleigh Power, Jessica, Heather and Becky.
