She was predeceased by: her parents, Alpha and Nina; her husband John Phoenix; and her son Kevin Phoenix. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Burkeen (Jon); her grandchildren, Connor Burkeen and Kyra Burkeen; and her siblings, Ida Hartman, Louetta Wilson, Viola Jones, Glen Baird and Thomas Baird.
