He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shores and Hilda Shores (DeVault); his siblings, Maxine (Hugo Conner), Eileen (Howard Kropf), Shirley (Tom Cornell), Don (Mary Shores) and Carl (Jeanne Shores); his parents-in-law, Maggie and Ernest Michael; his children-in-law, Loretta Shores and Rodney McDonald; and his brother-in-law Oscar Bergsma.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; his children, Lori Underwood (Terry) of Belding, Michelle Harris (Tom) of Sheridan, Frank Shores of Sheridan and Wilma Hall of Sheridan; his grandchildren, Kendra Ehle, Kyle Shores and Lucas Hall; his great grandchildren, Moses Mosqueda and Michael Mosqueda; and his sister Dorothy Bergsma of Grand Rapids.
