He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Springsteen and Edna Springsteen (Weber); and his brother Wayne Springsteen. He is survived by: his wife Neva; his children, Pamela Anderson of Fenwick, Betsy Lennemann (David) of Ionia and Jake Springsteen of Sheridan; his grandchildren, Joshua Ewalt (Jennifer) of Carson City, Alycia Edwards (Rick) of Sheridan, Christopher Springsteen (Stacey) of Fenwick, Sheena Ryan (Nathan) of Carson City, Hannah Lennemann of Ionia and Megan Lennemann of Ionia; and his great grandchildren, Paige, Peyton, Karlie, Keith, Cady, Olivia, Claire, Cole and Brodie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
