He was predeceased by: his parents, David I. Franks and Lilly Mae Franks (Bivens); his wife Imogene Mansfield; and his grandson Gabriel Franks. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Franks (Tammy) of Fenton, David Franks (Deborah) of Troy and Timothy Franks (LeeAnn) of Linden; his grandchildren, Maggen Franks of Fenton, Amanda Walker (Josh) of Fenton, Alisha Fore (Jeremy) of Cartersville, GA, Shannon Hill (London) of Detroit, Nathan Franks of Southfield and Ryan Franks of Linden; and his siblings, Betty Watson of Jonesboro, AR and Larry Franks of Hebersprings, AR. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the More Life Tabernacle (6430 Lennon Rd, Swartz Creek, MI 48473).
