She was predeceased by: her parents, James Curp and Eunice Chamberlain (Saiko); her husband Kenneth Whiteaker II; her son Dennis; her parents-in-law, Kenneth Whiteaker and Gladys Whiteaker (Hicks); her stepfather Roy Chamberlain; and her aunt Sarah Stonhouse.

She is survived by: her sons, Martin and Kenneth III (Amanda); her grandchildren, Andrew Whiteaker (Jin-Won) and Toni Jo Vanover (Jason); her great grandchildren, Luke James, Evan Jacob Whiteaker and Helena Ryan Vanover; her half-sister Donna Chapplear (Everett); her stepsiblings, Dennis Curp (Donna), Jan Heindrichs (Bob) and Elaine Young; her sister-in-law Ella Johnson; her goddaughter Penny Bittinger; and her close friends, Peggy Halka and Kathy Schuck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
