Shirley Ann Jones Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Jones of Fenton, Michigan, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Oliver and Eathel Oliver (Lloyd); her husbands, Paul Simpson and James Jones; her granddaughter Patty Blaska; her siblings, Faye Pope, Nina Speakman, Nora Jane Hicks, Judy Jenkins, Thomas Oliver and LeRoy Oliver; and her nephew Duane Ayo.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Fahey (Jeff), Craig Jones (Jill), Steve Jones (Jenny) and Tricia Swinehart Jones (Leonard); her grandchildren, Scott Blaska (Teresa), Jonathan Yettaw (Emily), Jacob Endicott (Lauren), Karli Fahey, Brandon Jones, Bryan Jones (Cami), Brycen Jones, Elise Miller and Mallory Miller; and her brother Gene Oliver. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
