It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara J. Martin (Fenton, Michigan), who passed away on May 27, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sara J. Martin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Trollman and Pauline Trollman (Hogan). She is survived by: her husband James Martin; her children, David Martin (Michelle Riess) of Kalkaska, MI, Steven Martin (Anna-Maria) of Warren, MI and Denise Martin of Waterford; and her sister Virginia of Kalkaska, MI. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.

“The first word that comes to mind when thinking about Sally is "kindness." My memories of her go back about 50 years, from the time I was a little kid in Fenton. I always remember Sally having a remarkable amount of compassion, empathy, understanding, and patience with a flock of children. In terms of Christian values, she lived them in rather obvious fashion, which speaks way louder than words. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives.”
