He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Barnum (Thelma) and Thelma Barnum; his sister Wanda Barnum; his in-law Rev. I. C. Jr. Peters (Lorraine); his daughter Kiyoka Sakamoto; and his son-in-law Mike Addison.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Angel Barnum, Joy Smith (Chris), William Barnum, Stephen Barnum (Jessica) and Amy Versluis (Bob); his grandchildren, Christal Presson (Cody), Alexxus Sandula (Michael), Cheyenne Smith (Mike), Evelyn Ricketts-Barnum, Brandon Barnum, Elizabeth Barnum, Dianthia Barnum, Kirtlan Barnum, Kaitlin Barnum, Alex Ironside (Lena), Ethan Ironside, Connor Ironside and Erin Livingston; his sister Donna Barnum-Jackson; his niece Dee Anna Reed (Ray); and his daughters, Yuka Sakamoto, Juliannna Capitiano and Tatianna Capitiano.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family to assist with funeral expenses and with the remainder being divided between the two hosting churches and Hospice.
