It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard K. Schaefer of Fenton, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Richard K Schaefer and Phyllis E. Schaefer (Kelley). He is survived by: his wife Maggie Plude; his children, Erica Schaefer (Shawn Irwin) and Richard Schaefer (Laura); his grandchildren, Blake, Leah Irwin, Layla, Paige, Rich Schaefer, Curtis and Ethan Wangler; his great grandchild Paisley; and his brother Michael Schaefer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
