It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Burt (Fenton, Michigan), born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Delano Burt and Margaret Ann Benscoter; and his close friend Paul Heineman. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Bender (Dan); his grandchildren, Olivia Bender and Joshua Bender; his stepmother Earline Burt; his siblings, Merrillyn Simetz, June Grimm (John) and Glen Burt (Jo); his half-sister Maralee Burt; his siblings-in-law, James Kratz (Pamela) and Carmen Kratz; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Mary Kratz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Reverence Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
