He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Kernan and Marjorie Kernan (Weiss); his former wife Margaret Anne Kernan; and his sister Nancy. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie; and his children, Kelly Kernan (Kris) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Alison Aldrich (Kevin) of Gulf Port, MS, Patrick Kernan (Krissy) of Traverse City, Shannon Brant (Ken) of Fenton, Ann-Margaret Hieber (David) of Wixom and Roberta Kerzic of Fenton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
