He was predeceased by: his father Rex Badder; his son Gregory; and his siblings, Ray, Jim Badder and Gerry Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Rex Badder and Melvin R. Badder; his sister Linda Jones; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Boldrey, David Jones, Lisa Jones, Denna Welch, Dixie Havermahl, Steven Paul, Sue Miller, Kay Blanzy and Tammy Ballard. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
