She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Westenfeld and Dorothea Westenfeld (Wiebeck); her husband William Forest Charles; her children, William Charles and Jean Hagstrom; her great grandchild Holly; her son-in-law Timothy Bradow; and her siblings, Harold Westenfeld, Mildred Charles and Elaine Ancic.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Zeeb (Richard) of Fenton, Laura Partlo (John) of Swartz Creek, James Charles (Diane) of Florida and Lisa Bradow of West Bloomfield; her son-in-law Earl Hagstrom of Linden; and her brother Gene Westenfeld (Donna) of Georgia. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
