She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Caden and Clavin; and her stepmother Cheryl Thompson. She is survived by: her parents, William Thompson (Joy) of Linden and Carolyn Thompson (Duncan) of Durand; her husband Leonard Arthur Butts; her children, Dianna Smethwick (Phillip) of Otisville, Ashley Tate (Austin) of Flint, Frederick "Rick" Sieradzki of Flint, Corey Butts of Johnson City, TN, Andrew Butts (Ruth) of Gaines and Keith Butts (Rachel) of Gaines; her siblings, Carla Goad (Frank) of Missouri, Jim Thompson (Karen) of Linden, Jeff Thompson of Flint, Chuck Thompson of Arizona and Josh Thompson (Penny) of Maryland; her close friend Laurie Kelly (Rob) of Bay City; and also, Trevor, Brooklyn, Bostin, Harper and Cate. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
