With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lewis Kent Cooper (Fenton, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cooper and Norma Cooper (Polly); his sister Kay; and his nephew Eugene. He is survived by: his family Ashantae Johnson; his daughter Khaza Johnson; his siblings, Gerry (Jenny) of Florida, Lynn of Ohio, Maureen of Ohio and Melita of Ohio; his aunt Ernestine Walker of California; his uncles, Bob Silk and James Duell (Monica); and his friend Gordon Benton of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Lewis by living fully, loving deeply and carrying forward the joy he so generously shared with all of us.
