It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Smith (Fenton, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 19, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward King and Dorothy Ann McCutcheon (Dykstra); and her son DJ Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jim Smith; her daughters, Carrie Grafft (Smith) and Patty (Smith); her grandchildren, Lauren Peabody (Brandon), Ryan Grafft (Natalie), Grace Peabody, Kate Peabody, Claire Peabody and Tessa Peabody; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Peabody, Cullen Peabody, James Peabody and Evelyn Grafft.
