He was predeceased by: his parents, William Shepherd and Portia Pitts Shepherd; and his siblings, Portia Jones-Shepherd, Jacqueline Pinkstaff-Shepherd "Jackie" and William Shepherd "Jiggs".
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Shepherd; his children, William "Keith" Shepherd (Teresa), Kelly Larreur (Roger), Karie Mowery (Nick), Amber McCloud and Jackie Ream (Andrew); his grandchildren, Maximillian "Max", Nicolas, Marco (Megan), Nick, Daniel, Cameron, Ethan, Nevaeh, Taylor, Audrina and Owen; and his sister Kristy Stubbs (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
