It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Wardie of Fenton, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wardie and Grace Wardie (Lobb); his brother Rickie Wardie; and his brother-in-law Harold Weaver (Skip). He is survived by: his wife Mary Wardie of Fenton; his children, Amy Rechsteiner (Matthew) of Grand Blanc and Joseph Wardie (Dorothy) of Fenton; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Joseph, Joshua, Jack, Nathan, Reagan (Brittany), Quinn (Drew), Shane, Miles and Kalicia; his siblings, Gloria Weaver of Alpena and Ron Wardie (Janeen) of Kalkaska; and his sister-in-law Kathy Lertola (Ray) of The Woodlands, TX. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
