He was predeceased by: his son DJ Smith; and his wife Laura Smith. He is survived by: his stepson Douglas James Jr. (DJ); his daughters, Carrie Grafft (Smith) and Patty (Jim Peabody); his grandchildren, Lauren Peabody (Brandon), Ryan Grafft (Natalie), Grace Peabody, Kate Peabody, Claire Peabody and Tessa Peabody; and his great grandchildren, Amelia Peabody, Cullen Peabody, James Peabody and Evelyn Grafft. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
