He was predeceased by: his parents, August Saule and Welma Saule (Glidewell); his daughter Jodi Saule; and his sisters, Elaine Simpson and Beverly Peake.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Crews; his children, James A. Saule (Crystal) of Indian River, MI and Julie S. Smith (Gordon) of Golden, CO; and his grandchildren, Heather Saule, Max Smith, Chase Smith, Kali Smith, Kellie George (Michael) and Nick Palm (Stefanny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and six great grandchildren.
