He was predeceased by: his parents, Meta (Zeitner) and Edgar; and his former wife Susan Mikuska (Mason). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Wilson; his sister Judy Konrad (Harlan); and his nieces and nephews, Matt Konrad, Shannon Farrey, Maren Sharrow and John Coleman.
