With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Colwell of Fenton, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Janeice; his children, Vincent Colwell (Rita), Steven Melchor, Robert Colwell (Tammy), Dina Colwell, Wauneita Polidan (Jeff) and Stephen Colwell (Tammy Schaefer); his grandchildren, Jeremy Fecteau, Leah Pinilis (Collin), Jason Fecteau, Jessica Polidan, Kristina Hubarth (Eric), Andrew Colwell, Ashley Colwell, Justin Melchor and James Melchor; his great grandchildren, Robby, Tinley, Paisley, Russell, Oliver and Eliana; and his sister Loretta Gauthier. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or to the Alzheimer's Association.
