He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Oliver and Lelah June Briggs (Barnhart); and his sister Maxine Pluta. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Leo Kinne (Ginny) of Gaines, Chris Kinne (Kim) of Gaines, Rhonda Fisk of Flint, Tina Robertson (Mike) of Burton, Shelly Briggs (Mark Montreuil) of Highland and Michael Briggs (Sharon) of Linden; and his siblings, Duane Briggs (Joanne) and Lenora Gann (Chuck).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel (1000 W Silver Lake Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
