He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Dethloff and Lotte Dethloff (Scheafer); his wife Andrea Miner-Dethloff; his son Alexander Dethloff (Erica); his grandsons, Oliver and Boden; his stepson Clement Miner; his sisters, Christel Gibbons (James) and Erika Neuens; his niece Dana Amley; and his stepmother Helen Dethloff.
