It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Downer of Fenton, Michigan, born in Mendenhall, Mississippi, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville Hord and Roma Hord Bedell (Rankin); her stepfather Ford Bedell; her children, Melanie and Rodney; her sister Jimmie Williams; and her stepsisters, Eileen Neilson, Myrna Standridge and Annette Sharp.

She is survived by: her husband William Downer; her brother William Hord (Debra) of Swartz Creek; her stepsiblings, Bernard Bedell (FloraMae) of Linden, Dolores "Dody" Bedell of Linden, Joyce Helm (Stan) of Byron and Gerald Bedell (Carol) of Linden; and her brother-in-law Dean Sharp of Linden.
