He was predeceased by: his parents, James Phillip and Josephine Mary Heffner (James); and his former wife JoAnn. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Jerry Heffner of Fenton and Matt Heffner (Susan) of Fenton; his stepchildren, Nick Teffner (Rhonda) of Gladwin, Tony Teffner of Athens, Allison Wagnitz (Tony) of Beaverton and Julie Teffner of Fenton; his grandchildren, Gabe, Kassidy, VaDawn, Austin, Marcus, Samantha and Andrew; his sister Carol Vassler of Linden; his sister-in-law Shirley Heffner of Fenton; and his brother Jim Heffner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, one aunt.
