She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gilbert and Marlyn Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Tim Szymanski; her children, Tim Szymanski (Suzy) and Teri Smith (Brad); her grandchildren, Brady, Ashlyn, Lauren, Rachel and Brooke; and her brother Randy Gilbert (Joan). She is also survived by cousins, nephews, a niece and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
