She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Cook and Lucille Cook (Shrock); her husband Norman Zerbst; her granddaughter Ashley Johnson; and her brother Larmer Cook.

She is survived by: her children, Gregory Payne (Soni), Leah Johnson, Donna Smith and Christi Day (Bill); and her siblings, Jean Bowman, Carolyn Smith and Linda Gottfriedt. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
