It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther Lucille Armstrong (Fenton, Michigan), born in Sidney, Iowa, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Proctor and Lottie Proctor (Jenkins); her husband Chester Isaac Armstrong; her son Joseph Armstrong; her children-in-law, Kathy Armstrong, Gray Counts and Russell Townley; her granddaughter Carrie Bolesky; her great grandchild TJ Bolesky; and her brothers, John, Hugh, Eldon "Red", Robert and Frank Proctor.
She is survived by: her children, James Armstrong of Cohoctah, Kay Counts of Davisburg and Debbie Townley of Holly; and her daughter-in-law Linda Armstrong of Grand Blanc. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 36 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
