With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Marie Hering (Fenton, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy Marie Hering to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Szczawinski and Jane Szczawinski; her husband Ray; her siblings, Casemeer, Eleanore and Angeline; and her grandson Evan.
She is survived by: her children, Laura, Mark Hering (Elizabeth) and Craig Hering (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Josh Birmingham (Lisa), Alex Hamilton, Hans Hering (Georgi), Erica Hering and Heidi Hering; her great grandchildren, Alexis Zapalski, Branden Zapalski, Harrison Birmingham and Anna Grace Birmingham; her friend Karan; and her caregiver Diana. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (600 N Adelaide St, Fenton, MI 48430). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
