He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Carl McLane and Leona McLane (Malloy); his daughter Susan Wardell; his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Trevino (Arnold), Roland McLane and Dorothy Wardell; and his brother-in-law Carmelo "Tati" Moyet.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Wietecha; his children, Debbie Wardell of Fenton, Glenn Wardell of Fenton and Robert Wardell; his siblings, Frederick "Tom" McLane (Sharon) of Beaverton and Judy Moyet of Pontiac; and his sister-in-law Elaine Messing (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
