He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Lynn Penness (Dakota) and Beth Ann Ealy Moreno (Rafael); his grandchildren, Elaina, Sofia, Rafael Jr. and Logan; and his sisters, Carol Penness Gatti (Jim), Susan Penness Lajavic (Don) and Lisa Penness Whelan (Matt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
