He was predeceased by: his father Richard LaFontaine of Farmington, Michigan.. He is survived by: his mother Constance LaFontaine; his wife Mary Ann; his sons, Nathan and Jackson; and his siblings, Robert (Janet), Joseph (Maureen), Theresa and Colette.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home (23720 Farmington Rd, Farmington, MI 48336). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (23615 Power Rd, Farmington, MI 48336).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the U Can-Cer Vive Foundation to further honor David's life.
