He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Julius and Eva Maude Bretzke (Stillwell); and his siblings, Ernest, Max, Edward Bretzke and Ruth Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Rita M. Leggett of Fenton; and his children, James Bretzke of Flint and Wanda Spangler (Richard) of Lancaster, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
