He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeannette Gaul and Clifford Totzke, Sr.; and his mother-in-law Connie Fidler. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his daughter Mallory; his son-in-law Paul Newall; his granddaughter Charlotte Newall; his stepfather Sam Gaul; his father-in-law Ivan Fidler; his siblings, Jean (Peter), Isla, Rob (Rhona) and Bruce (Lori); and his nieces and nephews, Aaron (Julie), Bill, Stephanie (Abe), Dayna (Raphi) and Megan (Sam).
He, along with 419, 000 (and counting) Americans, died of complications from COVID-19.
