She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeke Tidwell and Olga Creel; her sister Patricia Phillips; and her son Phillip Walker. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Vaughn; her daughter Patricia Simmons (Sean); her grandchildren, Phillip, Lindsey Simmons and Alexandra Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Rex and Sidney Simmons. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in-law, and many longtime friends.
