She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Swanebeck and Ellen Swanebeck (Berryman); her husband Dr. William Donald Pougnet; her daughter Mary Anne Pougnet; and her brother Donald Swanebeck.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Pougnet (Patti), Mike Pougnet (Teresa Carter), Tom Pougnet (Ursula), Steve Pougnet (Christopher Green), Ellen Greene (Brian) and Amy Macksood (Tommy); and her sister Carol VanBuren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Genesee County Free Medical Clinic or St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint, Michigan.
