Andrew Ivan Burton Obituary

BURTON, Andrew Ivan - Age 28, of Fenton, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via the link on Andrew's obituary page at http://www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor Frank Crossin officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Andrew was born November 23, 1995 in Troy, the dear son of Dennis A. and Jodie L. (Lipscomb) Burton. He was a 2014 graduate of Fenton High School. He has resided in Fenton most of his life. Andrew was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed watching University of Michigan football, Detroit Lion's, Red Wing's, Piston's and the Tigers. Some of his favorite activities were backpacking in the Porcupine Mountains, creating his own music, and playing Xbox with his childhood best friend, Jadon Georgakopoulos. His fondest memories were made on family vacations to Disney World. During these trips, and in life, Andrew was a ray of happiness and laughter to his family members and friends.

Surviving are: his parents, Dennis and Jodie Burton of Fenton; sister, Alivia Burton of Belleville; grandparents, Robert and Jan Lipscomb of Waterford; aunts and uncles, Frank and Denise Crossin of Trenton, IL, Corey and Heather Lipscomb of Pasadena, TX, Ronald Girouard of Waterford and Rhonda Girouard of Waterford; and several beloved cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Guy and Diana Girouard.
