She was predeceased by: her mother Ramey; her former husband Edward R. Cooper; and her son Phillip S.. She is survived by: her son Kenneth J. Cooper; her spouse Lydell Ford of Fennville; her grandson Kenneth E. Cooper (Jennifer); her great grandchild Sterling Ross Cooper; her daughter-in-law Patricia B. Cooper; her granddaughter Ashley Cooper; and her son Harry Rawson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins that she helped raise; second and third generations of family members that she kept in contact with, and friends.
Her son Phillip preceded her in death from COVID a year ago.
She worked for The Easter Seal Foundation, the Chicago Board of Education, and Carson Pirie Scott as a bridal consultant before her retirement.
