He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Harbison and Ethel Harbison (Birdsong); his son James Jr.; and his sisters, Helen Spark, Martha Arnold, Margie Gomez, Wanda Streicher and Lois Oudemolen.
He is survived by: his pet Lady; his former wife Sandra Barnes; his wife Kim Harbison (Watts); his children, Todd Harbison (Jill), Jacqueline Harbison and Tina Hammer (Mike); his stepchildren, Jessica Barnes and Travis Barnes; and his sisters, Joyce Klifman, Dorothy Hopkins and Margaret Kohlhoff.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Kim Harbison or the American Cancer Society.
