He is survived by: his spouse Guadalupe Pena (Pina); his children, Imelda Sauceda (George), Gregorio "Greg" Pena, Jr., Sulema Reyes (Marty), Dianna Bustillos (Sonny), Lydia Pena-Vela, Luis Pena and Andrew Pena (Angela); and his siblings, Luis, Maria, Gloria and Maricela. He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
